The FLUX is a compact and realistic interactive direct drive and is maintenance-free. The swift response of the Smart electronics and the 7kg flywheel transmits the slightest fluctuations in resistance directly and accurately to your legs. Of all the Tacx trainers, the FLUX has the heaviest actual flywheel with an effect of 23kg. The greater the flywheel effect, the more realistic the cycling experience. It uses ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart for communication and can therefore be connected wirelessly to smartphones and tablets. The ANT+ FE-C protocol enables you to train with Tacx apps as well as third-party apps such as Zwift and TrainerRoad. You can also train stand-alone; if you do not connect the FLUX, it will simulate a flat road.

Do you own a FLUX Smart and are you looking to get more out of your trainings than the Tacx apps can provide* You can achieve this by connecting your trainer to your computer. That way, you can train using the Tacx Trainer Software 4, Advanced.
Instead of your tablet or smartphone, your computer is used to regulate your resistance and read out your performance data. For example, the computer software offers longer video's in HD or Blu-Ray quality. While riding, the resistance on your rear wheel is adjusted automatically when the slope increases or decreases.

To connect the FLUX Smart to your Windows computer, the Upgrade Smart is required. This package contains the Tacx Trainer software 4, Advanced, a control box to mount on your handlebar and the ANT+ Antenna

Delivery

  • Standard NZ shipping is free on orders over $200. Orders under $200 are $10.
  • Oversize freight is $100 to the North Island and $175 to the South Island. Smart trainer freight is $25.
  • We ship to addresses throughout New Zealand.
  • Orders are typically processed within 1–2 working days after payment confirmation.
  • Delivery estimates are indicative and may be affected by couriers, weather, rural delivery or circumstances outside our control.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Additional charges may apply if an order needs to be resent.

Returns

  • Change-of-mind returns can be requested within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unopened and in their original resalable condition with packaging, labels and tags intact.
  • Eligible items may be exchanged. Returns after 14 days may be considered for store credit at our discretion. No change-of-mind returns are accepted after 30 days.
  • Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products will be handled in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on change-of-mind returns. Different rules apply where goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
  • Please contact us before returning anything so we can confirm the return and provide instructions.
  • Nothing in our returns policy limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law.

If you are not 100% satisfied, you can return it for a refund within 14 days of purchase within the limitations of our returns policy.

What do you charge for standard shipping an order?

Kiwivelo offers a $10 delivery Fee for orders under $200 and free or all orders over

How long will it be before I receive my order?

Most orders received before 3pm are dispatched the same business day. Orders are generally delivered within 1–4 business days, depending on your location.

South Island addresses may take an additional business day to arrive. Please allow additional time for shipments to rural addresses. For more details please view our shipping and delivery page.

Do you do back orders?

Kiwivelo.co.nz does offer back orders. If an item is out of stock we will notify you as soon as possible and ask if you would like a replacement item or like to wait for the stock to arrive. Out of stock orders, will be cancelled unless a replacement item is requested or you are happy to wait for the goods to arrive.

Do you ship to PO boxes addresses?

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes, please provide us with a physical address.
