Bunch Rides

Wednesday:

Every Wednesday (except in bad weather!). The bunch ride is avalible for all levels of riding ability with three groups on the Wednesday morning.

All rides do exactly the same course, the exception being that the 6:03am group does an extra lap of Lake Pupuke for an extra 5km. Once the groups have covered the lake, both bunches head into Devonport and up North Head. Each bunch re-groups at the summit and then heads along the waterfront and does a lap of Stanley Point followed by Bayswater. Both groups finish at the same time in Takapuna with a well deserved coffee at JAM on Hurstmere road.

5.50am ride: This is the Slower ride, averaging 27-28km/h (no Northhead) for 30km's

6am ride: This is the medium ride, averaging 30-32km/h for 30km's.

6:03am ride: This is the fast ride! Averaging 33-34km/h for 35km with a sprint or two along the way,

Bunch rides will continue over the Christmas/New Year break but may merge into one group depending on numbers.
